1- make a new folder ( name it as you like )

2- inside this folder make a ( TXT ) file & copy inside it this:

3- After u copy the Commanding go to line ( 23 ) u will find this word : password here (Change it with ) any password u like.

4- After that make ‘save as’ & name as ( locker.bat )

5- Now back to the folder & u will find a ( LOCKER ) commanding.

6- Click on it & u will find a new folder (Private )

7- Ok ,, now copy what u want in it & after that go to ( locker ) by click on it , it will open and ask you want lock your folder? Y/N ?

8- Type Y

9- If you want to UNLOCK your folder, go to (locker) & type your pass and you will see your private folder.

Just noticed a new and important privacy setting on Orkut

: “allow people to find me through my email address”

Using this setting you can restrict others from finding your orkut profile using email address. Just select “Don’t allow people to find me” option in above screenshot and you are done!

This is surely good for most job seekers as many companies/employment agencies nowadays go through candidates’ profiles on social networking sites before making an opinion about them. Its hard to find a person specially in IT industry who is not using atleast one social network.

I remember myself coding a script for one HR agency where the script accepts list of email addresses, find orkut profiles for each of them, gather some information from profiles and uses a customized algorithm to rank candidates!

Guess, now you can save yourself from some disappointment if you have a profile which you do not want to seen by your employer.

Personally, I will recommend not to put any private information on social networking sites, no matter what privacy settings they offer.

Hide Orkut Community contents To non-members

It really seems orkut is very serious about privacy for their users. After implementing privacy in scrapbooks, albums, videos its now turn for our communities. Well its very obvious that people copy one stuff from a community and paste it in theirs. But at last now its a bit more secure . Thanks to orkut, a community's content can be restricted to its members only.

Orkut Safety Filter Will Block Suscipious Profiles

Now Orkut will mark profiles and communities as unsafe they have content that is mature in nature, but doesn't violate their community guidelines. For example, their community guidelines prohibit pornographic images, which includes things like frontal nudity and graphic sex, and such profiles will be deleted. However, our community guidelines don't prohibit images that don't contain nudity, but are sexually explicit, so we may mark such profiles as unsafe. Note that your profile does not get deleted if it is marked unsafe - it just becomes hard to access.

Orkut guys are constantly working to keep orkut clean and beautiful. The safety filter lets users choose to show only profiles and communities that have been screened for potentially inappropriate images or text. By enabling the safety filter:

• Potentially offensive communities and profiles will be hidden from your search results.
• The pictures of potentially offensive profiles and communities will not shown in your community and friend lists - instead you will see a special icon.
• A warning message will be displayed before you access these profiles and communities.

If you'd like to enable the safety filter, just follow these steps:

1. Click settings on the left sidebar of your orkut profile or homepage.
2. On the general tab, find the 'safety filter' section.
3. Select the bubble next to 'do not show inappropriate content.'
4. Don't forget to click the save changes button at the bottom of the page when you're done.
